Description:
Northbound cyclist was going too fast and lost control at the angled retaining wall section of the trail. This caused her to swing into my lane of Southbound trail portion. This resulted in a side front collision and a collision with another cyclist behind me. She injured her spine and dislocated my shoulder. The other cyclist behind me injured his wrist. Explanation:
No signage is indicated to warn bicyclists to reduce speed to less than 10mph. 15 mph is too fast for that path layout. The bike trail pavement should be painted with reduced speed warnings. I did have a speedometer at the time. I think 5 mph to 10 mph should be the limit in that area since bikers around the retaining wall corner have no way to avoid a collision by swerving away. There are columns and a small dirt edge at the Southbound side.

Explanation:
That area needs definite speed reduction warnings on ground and posted up at least 30 feet before each entrance end. In most cases, cyclist entering from the angled Northbound side crossed over into the other lane at fast speeds. (I went back to document the accident scene and kept track of this)
