Collision with other bicycle at 2200 Westlake Ave
reported by David Kaill
Date: 2010-06-11
Crash type: Collision with other bicycle
Geometry: Bike rear-ended other bike
Description: Another cyclist was in front of me as we waited to cross Denny. When our opportunity came, the other cyclist stood up on the pedals and started to roll into the street. I did the same, while neck-checking for peds and cars. While I was neck checking, the other cyclist had stopped. I hit my brakes so hard I went over the handlebars and landed on her. :( She was OK.

It was my fault - as in with a car, the following party is required to maintain adequate separation.
