Solo crash at 2900-3698 Montlake Blvd NE
reported by Kelli
Date: 2010-05-04
Crash type: Solo crash
Geometry: Bike lost stability and crashed
Description: It was a rainy evening and I had only crossed the bridge once before. Since it was dark and there was lots of traffic, I could not see how to get on the side walk. I decided to try biking over the bridge, which was wet, and quickly lost control of my bike and fell. It happened quickly. As soon as I realized I feel in the middle of traffic I jumped up and got my bike out of the road. I had hit my hand, and was in shock.

The driver behind me stopped and helped me. He even gave me a ride to my friend's house.

I fractured my hand from the accident.
