Collision with other bicycle at 14701-14719 Washington 202
reported by Jeff Juel
Date: 2010-03-06
Crash type: Collision with other bicycle
Geometry: Bike turned into oncoming bike
Description: A NB 11 year old cyclist crossed over the trail centerline and hit the SB cyclist (me) head-on. The trail has a slight constriction here and two fairly sharp bends where the trail passes around the end of a concrete retaining wall under the roadway.

Very poor trail alignment. Many people who stopped after the accident commented that this was a very unsafe location with many accidents.

The 11 year old broke his jaw in two places. I broke my clavical.
