Collision with pedestrian at 1151-1183 Denny Way
reported by Mike
Date: 2010-01-20
Crash type: Collision with pedestrian
Geometry: Pedestrian crossed into path of bike
Description: Riding downhill in the middle of westbound traffic lane (at approx 20-25mph), I suddenly encountered jaywalking transient in middle of lane. With little time to respond, I attempted to avoid him but still clipped him. Next thing I remember I was being helped to the sidewalk by a good samaritan passerby female. Transient appeared inebriated and free of injury, and he confirmed that he was alright. I had all the symptoms of a concussion and got picked up by a friend who took my disoriented self to the ER to find out I luckily had no fractures. Add note to this report
