Date: 2010-01-17
Crash type: Collision with motor vehicle
Geometry: Vehicle turned into passing bike
Vehicle type: Car
Description: Was traveling eastbound on Colorado. Right hand lane was being closed off with construction cones because of construction starting on Rosemead Blvd. I cut into construction lane quickly because someone cut me off. Was traveling just barely in construction lane when I began to enter intersection. Grey sedan next to me did not signal and turned right in front of me. I struck the passenger side door, flew off and landed directly on my tailbone. Car occupants pulled over, made sure I was ok, offered to take me to the hospital and repair my bike. Exchanged information just in case I needed to go to the hospital later. My carbon seatpost cracked and saddle bent from the impact. Add note to this report
