Description:
I locked my bike on Flatbush in front of Sharlene's Bar, across from Crunch gym, at 10am. Went to Crunch to work out. Was on 2nd floor of gym when I looked out and say black male, around 50 years old, long dreads, gray/black beard taking my seat. He was on a bike, rode down Flatbush toward Pros. Park with my seat. I ran downstairs and outside, ran to corner o Flatbush and Sterling and saw him riding down Sterling. I chased after him, he stopped on 7th Avenue and I confronted him, screaming at him to give my seat back. Police car was coming down 7th, I flagged him down and had the thief arrested. I have had 2 bikes stolen in this neighborhood and now your seat isnt' even safe! I'm pressing charges and will go to trial if I have too. Sick of these scumbags. Full report

Was attached to a sign with U-lock, and back tire was U-locked to frame. Not sure how they took it because nothing was left behind. It's a 50cm single-speed that can be changed to fixie. Should be easy to spot because I swapped out the track bars and put on road bars. Full report
