Theft type: Lock compromised
Description: This was a 10 year old, red, full-size Fuji folder that my Dad got with his Marlboro miles (it still has the Marlboro emblem on the front -- ha ha). I finally took it out of his garage a year ago and it was an excellent, lightweight commuter bike. It was cabled to the bikerack in front of the Mission Bay Library branch for less than 15 minutes as I had just run in to copy a recipe before heading to Safeway. Some scumball cut the cable (my guy at Performance Bikes warned me about this, hmph) and made off with the bike. The staff at Philz told me that the an employee had a bike stolen from the rack the week prior. Full report
