Hazard reports for Renton, WA

Location: Logan Ave N, Renton, WA 98057, USA
Priority: Normal
Status: Pending
Description: Pedestrians and Cyclists traveling the wrong way in the Southbound bike-only lane. When cars are zipping by along that stretch with the raised curb and fence, there is not much wiggle room for two-way bike/ped traffic. Full report
Location: 1154-1198 Houser Way N, Renton, WA 98057, USA
Priority: High risk
Status: Pending
Description: A short section of Houser Way N is a "one way" going north to south. This short section of Houser Way N used to be close by a gate and cars did not have access to it. This short section has always been used (in both directions) by bicyclists riding between Houser Way N and Lake Washington Blvd N. About a year ago, this section of the road was open for cars to use it. Without a bike trail or signs to indicate that bicycles are allowed to use it in the "wrong way", people driving their car in the other direction probably believe that bicycles are not allowed to ride in the opposite direction (I have had people yield at me when doing so). This situation is putting people riding their bicycles their at risk and creating conflicts between people driving their cars and bicyclists. Full report
Location: 16000-16198 SE 128th St, Renton, WA 98059, USA
Priority: High annoyance
Status: Pending
Description: The bike lanes along both sides of 128th~4th St. in the East Highlands are full of broken glass and small debris. It appears that much of the larger debris has been picked up, yet the lanes have clearly not been cleaned by a street sweeper in quite some time. Every time I ride through I have to inspect my tires and remove several chunks of auto glass to prevent puncture. Full report
