This is a very direct route to the Burke-Gilman Trail, which is used by many cyclists. There is a forking lane midway in the street, which splits to the freeway, or under. Bikes need to cut into this lane to go under the freeway and continue to the Burke-Gilman. Cars are very fast and drivers are very manic here. Cyclists need to ride VERY fast to get past this obstacle and risk fatal injury by speeding car. Full report
