Description:
Considering the number of school children, Pedestrians and cyclists that use this crosswalk/intersection to cross SR-522, the safety and design of this intersection should be made more pedestrian friendly. Often motorists turning onto 522 from the Towne Center and Sheridian Beach do not yield to pedistrian traffic; and often traffic on 522 is still "blowing through" the Red light when the pedestrian walk signal activates (which only activates for 2.8 seconds).
