East bound detector fails to detect bicycles. West bound detector works properly. Inability to trigger the light causes me to "Right on Red after Stop" and head one block north on Dudley to get on the A&T campus. The other alternative is to stay on Lindsay when leaving downtown until Dudley is reached and climb the hill on Dudley in traffic, merging left to make the left turn onto Bluford. Full report

Description:
The signal is not triggerable by a bicycle in either direction on Parkway (haven't tested Eugene or Bessemer) which is a marked bike route. During commute periods this isn't much of a problem as motor traffic will trip the signals but just a little off peak traffic periods and a bike gets hung out to dry. Full report

On road bike route ends with off-road bike path on opposite side of high volume road with very poor sight line to the west and chronically over limit traffic from the east. It is possible to mitigate the crossing issue by using the center lane to get to the offset intersection to the east but again the road is high volume and the center lane is used heavily by traffic turning onto Issac Ln and going towards the Country Park on the other side.
