Rattlesnake near water source. The only place to fill up your waterbottle is a spikot just 10m north of the creek in Millard campground. I had just finished topping off during my road ride when I noticed a 2.5ft rattler about 8 feet away from my shoe. Fortunately, he was just hangin.' Description:
The designated "bike route" which parallels Oak Grove Dr. within the park has speed bumps which cross the entire width of the road, lacking any gaps which would allow cyclists to pass through without going over the bumps. As a result, many cyclists prefer to stay on Oak Grove Dr. instead of using the quieter and potentially more pleasant path. Full report
