Description:
Northbound cyclist was going too fast and lost control at the angled retaining wall section of the trail. This caused her to swing into my lane of Southbound trail portion. This resulted in a side front collision and a collision with another cyclist behind me. She injured her spine and dislocated my shoulder. The other cyclist behind me injured his wrist. Full report

Description:
A NB 11 year old cyclist crossed over the trail centerline and hit the SB cyclist (me) head-on. The trail has a slight constriction here and two fairly sharp bends where the trail passes around the end of a concrete retaining wall under the roadway.
Very poor trail alignment. Many people who stopped after the accident commented that this was a very unsafe location with many accidents. The 11 year old broke his jaw in two places. I broke my clavical. Full report |
