Description:
I was biking 10-15mph down the hill on D street in a designated bike lane. The light was red as I approached and I anticipated it turning green. I thought the driver in the front of the right lane was going straight. Just as it turned green and I entered the intersection the driver turned to the right. The right front of the car hit the left side of my front wheel. If feel/skidded 15 or so feet across the intersection and amazingly didn't break anything, front wheel and seat was severely damaged. Tacoma police and fire arrived about 5 minutes after the accident onto the scene due to the high visibility and potential of the crash. Full report
