car passed me and hit my side mirror knocking me over. i overtook car and got license plate, rode to a safer location a couple of blocks away and called police
police came,i gave them the license plate #. they found the car, which apparently had other scrapes and dents indicative of other accidents. driver was elderly and family had been trying to get driver to stop driving for "a while". Full report

I rode into the edge of a "puddle" which turned out to be adeep pothole full of water surrounding a utility cover. my bike tire was caught in the pothole forcing the bike abruptly to the left. i lost my balance and crashed. the bike was unrideable.
