Description: Taxicab made a u-turn across center bike lanes without checking that they were clear. Cyclist was too close and too fast to avoid collision, but turned enough to make the potential t-bone into a sideswipe. Description: The newly installed in-pavement trolley tracks along the edges of H Street NE are larger than a bike tire, so the tire was caught in the track when going straight along the street. Full report

Geometry: Bike hit open door of vehicle
Injury: Moderate
Description: A person getting out of their taxi, which was stopped on the left side of the street opened the door into traffic, just before I hit it. I was unable to swerve because of traffic in the center lane.
