Description:
Came to intersection of Allen and San Pasqual. Did a track stand to allow cars traveling north and south on Allen to proceed through intersection. Went after cars cleared intersection (my right of way). Silver sedan traveling south on Allen went illegally. Had enough time to turn south on Allen to avoid a T-bone collison, but right side of handlebar still clipped driver's door and I crashed. Driver thankfully stopped and made sure I was ok. Only damage to bike is torn bar tape. Full report

Geometry:
Vehicle turned into passing bike
Injury:
Moderate
Description:
Was traveling eastbound on Colorado. Right hand lane was being closed off with construction cones because of construction starting on Rosemead Blvd. I cut into construction lane quickly because someone cut me off. Was traveling just barely in construction lane when I began to enter intersection. Grey sedan next to me did not signal and turned right in front of me. I struck the passenger side door, flew off and landed directly on my tailbone. Car occupants pulled over, made sure I was ok, offered to take me to the hospital and repair my bike. Exchanged information just in case I needed to go to the hospital later. My carbon seatpost cracked and saddle bent from the impact. Full report

Geometry:
Vehicle backed into bike
Injury:
None
Description:
I was riding westbound on Del Mar, when a car backed out of a driveway ahead of me. I stopped in time to avoid colliding with the car, and paused to either allow them to pull back into the driveway, or to wait for traffic to clear so I could go around them, but the car continued backing up until making contact with my front wheel, and pushing against my bike. Vehicle only stopped when I started banging on their trunk with my fist. Driver exited the vehicle and yelled expletives at me, and I rode away, west on Del Mar. Driver then got back into the vehicle, revved their engine, and passed me very close and very fast, cutting me off by turning right (north) onto Grand Oaks, with their rear wheel hopping up onto the curb in the process. I continued west on Del Mar, and did not see the vehicle or driver again. Car was a white two-door with a spoiler (which is what I banged on). Driver was hispanic male, around 30 years old. Geometry:
Vehicle turned into oncoming bike
Injury:
Moderate
Description:
I was riding eastbound on California Blvd. and the offending vehicle was heading westbound. The vehicle turned left into a parking garage for an apartment building. The driver did not slow down at all when approaching the left turn and until after she hit me. I had a bright NiteRider TriNewt headlight mounted on the handlebars. I had a split second to hit my air horn as well, but the driver did not slow down. The vehicle hit my front wheel and downtube with the front bumper. I flew over the hood of the car and onto the right side of the street. Full report
